Writing the Alphabet in Cursive
Learning how to write the alphabet in cursive is a big step for most grade school children. Most elementary schools start teaching cursive to children in the first or second grade, although cursive is also introduced in some kindergarten classes across the country. The primary benefit of writing in cursive is the ability to write quicker. Since cursive letters flow together from one to the next, the student doesn't have to pick up his or her pencil or pen each time he or she finishes writing a letter. This drastically speeds up writing time. This allows the students to finish projects faster and benefits both the student and the teacher.
