How to Make a Cursive X

X is my favorite letter, probably because it is so unique and because of the phrase "X marks the spot".  Drawing X's in cursive is as easy as it gets, but for some reason a lot of people don't remember how to make a cursive x when you put them on the spot.  It's actually the same as a regular x.  The lower case x is pretty much the same, with one small difference.  Instead of it being two crossed straight lines, the cursive x in lower case starts with a curve at the top.  You make the curve and then go back to the top and then make a cross through it like the picture below indicates.  It is one of only four letters that requires your pen or pencil to be lifted from the paper while you're writing.  The other letters that require this are the lower case i, j, and t.
