Writing the Letter B in Cursive
Unlike many cursive letters of the alphabet, the upper case B and the lower case b are very different looking. Many grade school children often find the letter B to be one of the hardest letters to learn in cursive. So if you are having a hard time with the letter B, just remember that practice makes perfect. To draw the upper case B start at the top and draw a slanted line to the bottom. Next, retrace your line and loop it down just like you would draw the number 3. Once your curved line touches the slanted line hook it back to the right just a bit about the bottom curve. To draw the lower case b in cursive start at the bottom and draw a slanted line that starts out going to the right and then loops around at the top like a ribbon. Let your line go all the way to the bottom and then curve it back up. Once you get to the middle stop and draw a small hooking line to the right. You can use that line to transition into the next letter in your word.
